These Terms govern access to and use of SCCP Academy, the online supply chain learning and assessment platform operated by The Logistics & Supply Chain Academy (the “Academy”). Creating an account, accepting an invitation, or purchasing a course or exam constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to the Academy website, the course player, practice assessments, level exams, certificates, and all supporting materials and services.
Where a specific product, cohort, or programme carries additional terms, those additional terms apply together with these Terms. If they conflict, the product-specific terms govern for that product only.
Acceptance of a version of these Terms is recorded against the learner account with the version identifier and the acceptance timestamp.
2. Account eligibility and registration
A learner must be able to form a binding contract in their jurisdiction and must be at least 16 years old. Accounts for younger users are not offered.
Registration information must be accurate and kept current. The name held on the account is the name used on any certificate issued to that account.
3. Account security and non-transferability
One account per learner. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, lent, transferred, or used by more than one individual.
Learners are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity under their account. Suspected compromise must be reported to the Academy without undue delay.
The Academy may use login monitoring, device signals, and dynamic watermarking to detect account sharing and content misuse.
4. Access rights and duration
Access to a course or exam is granted for the access period stated for that product at the time access is granted, or for the period stated in an invitation where access is granted without payment.
Course access and exam access are separate. Holding or completing a course does not by itself grant exam access, exam attempts, or a certificate.
Access is provided on a personal basis to the individual learner account and ends when the access period ends or the account is terminated.
5. Personal-use licence
Subject to these Terms, the Academy grants the learner a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to access and use the content included in their purchased or assigned programme, for their own individual learning only.
Ordinary personal note-taking is permitted. Notes may not reproduce substantial parts of the content for distribution to others.
No other right or licence is granted, whether by implication or otherwise.
6. Intellectual-property ownership
The Academy or its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the platform and its content, including: course text; lesson structure and sequencing; learning objectives; practice questions; exam questions; explanations and rationales; System Labs; Decision Intelligence Studios; fictional datasets; case studies; graphics and diagrams; video and audio where applicable; downloadable materials; software and source code; interface designs; branding, names, and logos; certificate designs; and the databases and compilations underlying the programme.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of the above. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Prohibited use of Academy content
Except where a mandatory legal exception applies, learners must not:
copy or substantially reproduce content; redistribute, publish, publicly display, resell, sublicense, or otherwise make content available to others; use content for commercial training, teaching, or coaching; create competing courseware or derivative training products; translate content for redistribution; record the screen or share screenshots or downloadable files; scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content by automated means; build a database or compilation from the content; or upload content to a public repository.
Learners must not use Academy content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, populate, or ground an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system, and must not submit protected content to a third-party system in a way that permits such use.
Learners must not share account credentials, circumvent access controls or licensing restrictions, or reverse engineer protected application behaviour except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
These restrictions do not limit rights the learner has under mandatory law, including applicable quotation, private-study, accessibility, and text-and-data-mining exceptions. Where a lawful exception applies, it prevails over the corresponding restriction above.
8. Assessment and exam confidentiality
Practice questions, exam questions, answer options, rationales, scoring logic, and blueprint information are confidential assessment material.
Learners must not record, transcribe, reproduce, publish, or share assessment content or answers, in whole or in part, and must not seek out or use leaked assessment material.
Breach of this section is also an academic-integrity matter and may result in attempt invalidation and certificate revocation under the Academic Integrity Policy.
9. Acceptable platform use
Learners must not interfere with the platform, probe or test its security, bypass rate limits, use automation against it, upload malicious code, or attempt to access data belonging to other learners.
10. Payments and access
Where a product is offered for purchase, the price, currency, applicable taxes, access period, and product scope are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; the Academy does not store full card numbers.
Access is granted after the payment provider confirms the payment. Where a payment is reversed, access granted for that payment may be withdrawn.
11. Relationship to the Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refunds, cancellations, duplicate charges, and technical incidents are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Mandatory consumer rights, including any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to a learner, are not affected by these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
The Academy may suspend or terminate access where there is a material breach of these Terms, an academic-integrity violation, suspected fraud, a reversed payment, or a legal requirement.
Where proportionate and lawful, the Academy will notify the learner and allow a response before a final decision. A learner may close their account at any time by contacting support.
13. Platform availability and updates
The Academy makes reasonable efforts to keep the platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance and interruptions may occur.
Content is maintained and improved over time. Corrections, clarifications, and updates may be made to lessons, activities, and assessments without reducing the substance of the programme a learner has access to.
14. User-submitted feedback
Feedback, defect reports, and improvement suggestions submitted through the platform may be used by the Academy to operate and improve the service without obligation or payment. Learners should not submit confidential information of their employer or of a third party.
15. Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payment, email, and security. Their processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The Academy is not responsible for third-party websites reached through external links.
16. Disclaimers
The programme provides education. It does not provide professional, legal, financial, or operational advice for a specific organisation, and decisions taken in the workplace remain the responsibility of the learner and their employer.
The Academy is not an accreditation body and makes no claim of external recognition, employer endorsement, employment outcome, or career progression.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, or data, arising from use of the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Academy's total liability in connection with a product is limited to the amount the learner paid for that product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer law.
18. Governing law and disputes
Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the learner's country of residence continue to apply where relevant, and a consumer may bring proceedings in their country of residence where local law provides that right.
The Academy aims to resolve disputes directly. A learner should contact support first and set out the issue and the outcome sought; the Academy responds within a reasonable period.
The governing law and the agreed dispute forum are confirmed at the point of purchase and are stated in these Terms before paid enrolment opens.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated. Each version carries a version number, an effective date, and a last-updated date, shown at the top of this page.
Material changes are notified to account holders and, where acceptance is required, a new acceptance record is created against the new version. Existing purchases continue to be governed by the version accepted at the time of purchase where mandatory law requires it.
20. Reporting infringement of Academy content
Suspected unauthorised copying, publication, resale, or reuse of Academy content should be reported to contact@sccp-academy.com with the subject line “Content infringement report”.
A report should identify the protected content concerned, the location of the suspected infringement including a link or other evidence, the date observed, and the contact details of the person making the report, together with a statement that the report is made in good faith and is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
Reports are logged, evidence is preserved, and each report is reviewed. Where a report is substantiated the Academy may contact the party concerned, request removal, notify the hosting platform, suspend any Academy account involved, and take further action. Repeated infringement results in permanent termination of any associated account.
Rights holders who believe their own material appears on the platform without permission should use the same address and provide the equivalent information.
